my brother decorated his baby girl's room in tropical fishes.
he painted a kind of sea-scape with all kinds of fishes on the walls and had stuffed (beany-baby-type) fishes in a net hanging from the ceiling and things like that
it was very colorful and pretty (and different)

Something unique yet inspired by nature. Maybe a tropical beach theme so the kids life is like a vacation.

I love the jungle as well! I'll have a soccer themed room for my son though..daddy's a coach!
Oh, and country bears are cute as well, I can't stand Disney or Winne-the-Pooh stuff though..

I think old fashion pooh bear is good for either or, but if its a boy, I'd choose Cars and airplanes or a sports theme...not sure for girls cause I don't have any...
