Chills, weakness, some chest congestion.
I used Allergy Sinus capsules last night. It helped but I had to sleep.Today I took Theraflu daytime. Not much help. 4 hours up I'm going to try Mucinex. What do you think?

I used to work in a pharmacy but now I work in a hospital. Mucinex is mainly used to break up the mucous in your chest/head. You mentioned trying Theraflu. I'm surprised that didn't help you much. If you want to try Mucinex I recommend Mucinex D. It is in a red box. It has Pseudophedrine in it which sounds like that is what you need right now. Also take some tylenol for the aches. Just as a precaution, if you have problems with high blood pressure stay away from pseuedophedrine. It can effect your blood pressure. If you don't have problems then nothing to worry about. If that is a problem then try Coricidin HBP. These are both over the counter meds. Though the Mucinex D will probably be at the counter since it has the pseudophed. I hope some of this helps and you start feeling better soon.

I took Mucinex DM today to stop coughing. It works pretty well for 5-8 hours. Doesn't help much for decongestion though.

Not far back, when I was under the weather also, My doctor recommended Mucinex. It is a little more expensive, but it has worked for me!
