I think her Mom should have the right to bury her. I call her Ms. Virgie Virgie, that's my pet name for her.

I believe Howard K. Stern. He was the closest person to her and was there when she made the decision to bury her son in the Bahamas, because she fully expected to live there too. I don't think the mother has any right at all to decide, because of their estranged relationship. Had they been close then I would probably completely agree that she should have that right. But she was not even allowed at Daniels funeral, so doesn't that tell everyone how Anna felt about her? I think that judge Seidlin totally shirked his responsibility to make a decision on this and just passed it off to someone else. And now, what a big mess, with all of the other legal things going on before she is even properly buried, (like paternity, etc...) If not in the Bahamas then, they will have to move Daniel too. What a big mess.

Her daughter, but as she's still a minor. then the next of kin - her mother - since Smith is not OFFFICIALLY married to anyone. All these so-called wills sound kind of dubious, and as her system was stuffed with medication and drugs, plus her mental problems, it's hard to accept her as not being coerced to do things against her will. Her brains appeared too fried to think straight - judging from the scandals surrounding her!
If Larry is proven to be the biological father and he does appear to be a steadier person than Howard, the baby should be raised by Larry. And if the baby returns to the U.S., her mother's grave should be within her reach. Daniel's body could always be moved to the U.S. to be buried close to his mother.

Her Mother should get to bury her.
Virgie Arther loves her daughter, gran daughter and her grandson.
She should be allowed to bury her daughter in Texas.
Dannielynn is a baby.
Virgie is next of Kin.
She has asked for help.
Virgie needs all the help and support she can get.
No one knows for sure, yet, why her daughter and grandson died.
That must be very painful and scary for her.
I'm sure she loves her little gran daughter and is very worried about her.
We know who the mother and grandmother is.
There are to many other unanswered questions.
Money has nothing to do with a mother or grandmother's love, besides, the little girl does not have any money yet, maybe never.
Her grandson, only went to The Bahamas, to see his baby sister.
I don't think he wanted to stay there.

Even though I would ordinarily say her mother, I have to say Howard just because he wants to put her by her son. To me, that's where I would assume a mother would want to be- by their child.
That's a tough one.
