I can't stand it. It just aggravates me to no end when I see some perfectly able-bodied woman and her five kids in the grocery store with 3 buggies full of steaks and ribs, her kids in brand name clothes like Hollister and Abercrombie (or should I say Baby Phat and Fubu), paying for the food with food stamps and loading everything into their Cadillac Escalade (which is parked in the hanidcapped spot of course) with rims that cost more than the vehicle when I can barely afford my few packs of porkchops, chicken, and ground beef, the 10 for $10 boxes of Hamburger Helper, or the payments on my little POS pick-up truck because all of my hard-earned money is going to people who can work if they wanted to, but they're just lazy and have been taught that the system gives out free money.

I don't hate them, I have no idea why they are on welfare... I had welfare for a year, and I am sure that people were thinking all kinds of bad things about me when I cashed a check or spent foodstamps, but what they did not know and could not have known was that I had quit my job to take care of my dying mother full time so yeah you never know what a persons situation is.

I don't exactly hate them, some people fall on hard times and need a little help. But for the ones that expect the government to take care of them for the rest of their lives are disgusting creatures... I won't say that I hate them, but I will say that I can't stand them. And the worst ones are the ones who have children for the purpose of gettig welfare checks, dressed in really nice expensive clothes, nice coats, hair and nails done, while their children suffer through the winter in rags and blanket sleepers instead of snowsuits...

I hate welfare abusers...

There is a purpose for welfare and that is to get you back on your feet after a financial steback such as a loss of a job or a divorce. When people use welfare for what it is intended, I have no issues with that.

People that raise generations in the welfare system make me sick...period.

HATE,no.

I hate the welfare system as it breed laziness and has no requirements of the people who use it. Want to stop welfare abuse, change welfare laws 'cause the moochers aren't going to do it.

AND not everyone on welfare stays on. My brothers mom was on it because my dad ditched her, me, and my brother and she was a college student. You bet your sweet aunt lily she used it to feed two kids but now she's off and working and not looking back.

if a person is in genuine need of welfare i have no problem at all,but if it is possible for that person to work an knocks back job offers then they are nothing but a bludger and should be taken off welfare.

I dont hate anybody. But it angers me that I work and my taxes go to support people who sit on their lazy arses, when there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. Look at al the people with physical disabilities that go to work every day. Then there are women who intentionally get pregnant so they can get more welfare.

Most of the people I see on welfre are able bodied and CAN work, but WON'T.
It's high time we do away with all of it.
It is a PROVEN fact that, as programs like welfare and new tax's increase, charitable organizations coffers decrease.
ie...If you FORCE me to pay, I'm not giving any extra away. Let me KEEP most of my $$ and I'm willing to GIVE some of it away.

SOME ON WELFARE REALLY NEED IT AND I UNDERSTAND.. BUT THE ONES THAT ARE ABUSING THE SYSTEM JUST CUZ THEY ARE LAZY AND NO GOOD, WELL THEN, THEY NEED TO GET OFF OF THEIR LAZY YUPPERS AND GO TO WORK.. IM TIRED OF PAYING TAXES JUST TO KEEP THEM UP.. ITS SAD BECAUSE THEY ARE SO MANY OF THEM OUT THERE, WHO HAD RATHER JUST SIT AT HOME, INSTEAD OF WORKING AND ACCOMPLISHING SOMETHING ON THEIR OWN.
