HI,First I want to say i am no one to judge anyones ways or beliefs.....I would not presume to tell someone my way is their way ...because that is a personal decision and as varied as their are people....and JMHO.
I don't like to call names or to lable people but the way your question is asked it leaves no room long winded explanations {although it seems im trying to do that}...

People who believe in religion are lambs {meaning followers , not self thinkers}....or that they dont think or question as much as they could.

off the top of my head thats the most streamlined i can get , without getting possibly insulting.
I wish for you a great life...and thank you for a challenging question ....There is a saying ive taken up and it is

"Religeous people are religious because they are afraid of going to hell.....spiritual people are spiritual because they have already been there"

Peace

Theres a fine line between the modern definition of religion and spirituality. But, there is a big difference in the two words. I religiously shower every day. Do I think that because I shower I am closer to God? No. Religion is man made. Some one said "we should worship every Sunday." Spirituality belongs to individuals and is not dictated by the rules of say the Catholic Church. In being "religious" you choose to adhere to the teachings of your particular brand of Christianity or other monotheistic beliefs. People who practice a particular religion IMHO lack the imagination and connectivity with their own spiritual being necessary to feel that have a connection with a higher power. Instead they congregate and practice at one time to build up the energy they themselves lack to feel that they have fulfilled their duty to their diety.

what motivates society the most
we wouldnt be here today and everything wouldnt be going great or okay witout religion, society won't be this advance
Athiest are the most naieve belief ever
they reject whatever force themselves to believe in nothing, despite watever proof for either science or religion, even the evidence is in front of them
what is the point of athiest? they dont believe in death, then why should they live? they shouldnt live when athiest sees no meaning in life, bein that religion is for hope and a meaning in life to live on
example
im gonna take out a gun and point it at the athiest, if this atheist is afraid of dying (a natural human reaction) i would say, why be afraid? u shouldnt, u have ntohing to fear sine there's no point in your life or after life
u're nothing more than a hyprocrite if u're afraid, and i wont kill u because u aren't a true athiest, u hope for something
so religion/hope is amazing
athiest is no meaning

Beth makes a good point. I believe in religions because they exist. That doesn't mean that I have "faith" or believe in the doctrine of any religion.

In general, I think that most people have faith in the existence of God and extend that to participate in some form of religion. Many of the people that I admire are people of strong faith. Gandhi, Mother Teressa, Doctor Martin Luther King Junior, President Jimmy Carter.

This is a flawed statement. I believe in religion, but I am not a religious person. See what I mean? Your statement should say "People who are religious..." or "People who believe in Christ/Allah/etc."
