well this depends on your age. non regular periods are completely normal when you are not on birth control. some women have different flows, and maybe you naturally do not have a heavy period, especially if you work out alot or if you are an unhealthy eater. chocolate does not make you bleed more, but it is something you crave when on your period. it might be a good idea for you to ask your doctor to start birth control, it will regulate your periods and it might be able to help you with your blood flow.

why on earth would you want to bleed more!!!? two months is an exceptionally long cycle but not abnormal, if they are regular, just spaced apart then dont worry and enjoy the fact you have to put up with your periods less than others!

Hunny,
be thankful that you do not bleed a lot. It simplifies life for you. You don't have heavy periods so you don't have to worry about bleeding through your tampon or pad, you prolly don't have the painful cramping and bloating..
Count your blessings!!!

My menstrual cycle is the same way and its fine. It changes because your body is changing. One time, it can be heavy and other times it can be lgiht. Its an irregular menstrual and not to worry about it. If you feel like it is something to worry then you can get checked but its all having to do with your body.
