my boyfriend is in jail. Im having a kid in 3 months . im suppose go to live with my mom and get on medicade and stuff well i wanted to get a state ID and go see him just once before i left but im scared i wont have enough time to get medicade and what not should i just leave or wait and go see him first

At this point you need to consider your unborn baby and yourself first. Have you been getting regular doctor check-ups, etc.? and taking prenatal vitamins and eating right and getting enough rest, etc.? You could find out how long it takes to get the proper ID before you leave, but if it is going to be a long time, sit down and write a really good letter to your boyfriend. It is admirable that you are thinking of him, but is he truly the type of person you want to be raising a child with? You now how more than yourself to think about and need to make mature decisions about your future. Sit down, either alone or with your mom, and make a plan for what you expect after the baby comes. Make a one year plan, and then a five year plan. (where do you see yourself in one year, five years.) Then set goals for how to achieve those plans. Good luck and God Bless.

If you can not arrange to go see your boyfriend immediately then you need to just move to be with your mom. You don’t want to jeopardize yourself and your baby’s future by holding off the move to see your boyfriend.

You do whatever you have to do to take care of you and your baby and once you make sure that will be done then you can go and see him. Besides he got himself in thurr and you shouldnt stress over gettin him outta thurr or being able to see him. Its his fault let him take the responsibilty

You need to just go. You can write to your BF is you need to but you need to go to your Mom's and do what you need to do to prepare for the birth of your child.
