That should be it, you should be able to right click on the wireless icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and select View Available wireless networks. You should then see your network in the list. If the wireless router is built into your modem, they most likely have a password, or WEP key which would keep just anyone from connecting to your modem. If you do not have this key you would most likely need to get it from your ISP. If you have your key and see your network in the list you should be able to double click the network, enter the key and get online!
Hope this helps .

If your laptop has a wireless card, and you have a wireless router you should be good to go. However, you may need to setup a network to get a good connection, it depends on what type of wireless router you are using.

ok first and premiere you want to modify over to DSL connection and then you'll get a Linksys on the spot router that you want to connect with the DSL modem And once you're finished you'll want an USB on the spot ADAPTER for on the spot connectivity. then you fairly can make you connection guard with Encrypted WEP key purely and purely you could bypass on-line consisting of your individual encrypted password. It completely relies upon on you in the experience that your associates have on the spot internet connection and that too no longer in a secured mode or WEP disabled then you fairly can connect the USB on the spot ADAPTER search for for accessible on the spot NETWORKS connect with ANY UN SECURED community and also you're up an operating
