It's not about them, It's about you. It's probably better to discover yourself now than to discover yourself when your married and have kids. Like some! And I'm sure you are just experiencing at this time, it can still change. I think you should talk to your mother about it, after all you can't get pregnant this way! lol Sometimes I wish I would have done what you are doing now, that way I wouldn't question myself sometimes. These days , there are no secrets...... Of course it's a little disapointing for parents to find out that their daughter or son is homosexual because of descendance..... But as long as you are happy, that is usually what matters most to them. If you need to talk don't hesitate, I'm sure it's really hard. Good luck

I think all parents want is for their children to be happy and safe. If you are having issues with telling your parents about your sexual preference then you should seek out a support group. Your parents maybe hurt only because they want what is best for you and they may feel that being openly gay will cause you hurt and grief from people who do not understand.

Trust me I am sure they have a clue and if you love your bet friend and she is a female she must be in a relationship with someone else for it to be an affair.I think you should do what you want and enjoy what you have at the time and the truth will come out eventually as long as people don't get hurt.

I think you need to decide for yourself what your preference is and be happy. I do think you want to share with your parents, but not by introducing the fact that you are already involved in a relationship. You need to introduce them to the thought that you understand who you are and you need them to accept that you are attracted to females. Once they have accepted it, then gradually introduce your partner into the scenario.

I'm not a parent....but I have seen this one....
they know but are too afraid to say anything. Parents aren't dumb just blinded by unconditional love for you.

You are being dishonest and that hurts worse. You need to come clean before you have no choice.
