The only ones I've heard of are RIT and Dylon. Which one is better and why? I'm looking for dye for a tie-dying party.

Any help is appreciated :)

I like rit dye, but it has to be the powder type, not the liquid or it doesnt come out right.

I've always used RIT. It holds it's color well. I've not tie-dyed anyting in years but, I didn't even know there was Dylon.

I use rit dye, but if you go to michaels or hobby lobby or even walmart might have them, you can purchase tie dye kits and they shouldn't be too much money.

Save yourself the trouble and get a tie dying kit at your craft store. The different colors are already bottled, come with instructions and can be bought for 40% off if you have a coupon. I'm talking about Michale's and A.C.Moores.
