Play as in sexually, no. Those things frequently lead to break ups, because it becomes the focus of the relationship and there is no other meaningful enjoyment of each other.

Play as in honestly, go out and act like kid and just have a great time... suprisingly, yes. You bond an entirely new level and it helps rejuvinate the relationship.

That can be true, but for some couples that just breeds a different type of problem.

My husband and I are unable to play couple sports because we are both far too competitive. We are hard on each other during games and argue about it on the ride home and through the evening.

We have decided that we are better off playing separate sports and supporting each other from the sidelines! It is more fun to cheer each other on, than bring each other down.

I agree with this 100%. I've been with my fiance for almost 5 years, and we are best friends, we have a blast together. We do everything together, I even can play PlayStation like a pro, we have so much fun together. We laugh, we play fight, we chase eachother around the house. Were big kids together, and that makes our relationship fun.

Yes, or at least that has been my experience.I have been with my hubby 17 years and married to him 15 years. And we have always played together. But it comes naturally for us we were friends before we were a couple. We go out into the woods and chase each other around in our jeeps or work on the cars together we also play games on the x-box together.Being married doesn't mean you have to always act like husband and wife or like even grown ups. That crap is way to boring. And married people like are like little kids when they get to board they get into trouble. And gettin into trouble leads to fighting.

It's a great start. Couples who can have fun together usually stay together longer.

Yes because the more you do together, the more you have in common. When you a growing, changing and maturing, the activities you do together will bind you together.

I do think that activities in this case means activites where the couples spends quality time together.....not anything "kinky"...I hope that's not where we were going with the question....lol.

Yes. My mate and I make it our business to takes trips and spend "special time " together. We travel at least twice a year, and always take at least one day in every weekend to spend with each other.

It gives you something to look forward to and brings you closer together. It does hold the relationship together.

Looks get old, sex gets old, but memories last forever.

Absolutely. When your spouse is also your best friend it strengthens the bond. "Playing" with him or her increases the positive feelings and the desire to spend more time together. There's no one I'd rather goof off with than my husband.
