The Spanish conquistadores said they came to the Americas for "God, Glory, and Gold." Which of these do you think was the most important to them? Explain your answer

It probibly varied by the man, but I'd say gold was probibly the leading motivation for most of them.

Gold and Glory. The natives called them goldeaters because they thought that was the reason they wanted so much gold. And the glory came from all the gold they sent back to Spain. If they were not from royalty the gold they sent would make them royalty by the King of Spain, of course that is not counting all the gold they smuggled out for their own use.

They would've probably claimed 1 and 2.......but the REAL reason was $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ riches.
