There is never any negative response when an asian, hispanic or east indian date or marry a white male or female but there always some kind of negative reaction when it is especially a black female and a white male.

I think that this is because people have not figgured out that skin color has nothing to do with what kind of person you are. I do have to admit that I have seen alot of racist people/comments and it is geared towards anyone who is different (than the person who is sending the message or idea). I was brought up that I could be with anyone reguardless of creed, race or religion as long as they treated me well and loved me. I am a white woman, I have dated black men and even though those relationships did not work I never looked at color to find my match. If you are asking because you are in the black female and white male relationship just ask yourself: Does the other person make me happy? Do I make them happy? And if the answer to both is YES!!!! Then dont worry about what people say. At the end of the night those people dont go home with you, you go home to the one person you love most of all. Good luck and good riddance to all the racist people out there.

In America the is this silly notion that all white males are racist. This is a racist idea. Years ago, I had an interesting conversation with an attractive black lady concerning her interracial preferences. She would only date white men.
I asked her, "You don't date Asian, or Indians, or Black men?"
"No" she replied.
"Why not?" I inquired.
"Because white men know how to treat a woman.", was her answer.
I said to her, " You know, white women that exclusively date black men say the same thing about black men, so can you elaborate?".
She then said "A white man won't get a woman pregnant and leave her.".

I then pointed out that my cousin was paying court-ordered child support on 8 kids by 6 women that he had never married, and she said "Oh..."

Black racists seem to me to be much more tolerant of a black man with a white woman than a black woman with a white man. White racists in America seem equally intolerant of black/white interracial couples and more tolerent of other combinations. All the Indians, Asians, and Amerinds that I know are not rascist at all.

I agree with the first guy! As much as people say they are tolerant, when "diversity" is in their face, they change their mind. My favorite is when a white, hispanic, asian, or other female dates a black male! OH the sistas! Personally, I date who I want to regardless of race and without concern for people with judging eyes! Good and bad people come in all shapes and sizes. Why limit yourself further when it is so hard to find good people of any race in this day and age?

I agree that there is more hostility toward interracial couplings involving white men and black women (which I get invoved in all the time). I have experienced hostile looks and heard negative comments toward me and my white partners. But then, this is the USA and this country is so very much obsessed with black and white. People just need to realize that it is 2007 and you can date whoever you want. It is a white man/black woman couple who opened the door for lots of interracial marriages that you see today in the United States.

i just asked my friend that because i dont hear all this drama when a black man dates a white girl but if its a girl then oh my god its like you broke some sort of rule or law!! i dont get it- i dont think that you should put colour on the person your going to fall in love with, it will be who it will be. thats my thing. i know some people dont agree but i just find it really sad when people judge other people.

No one likes black people?

I don't know. I got no problems from my exinlaws who are white and wished I was still with their son.

My Chinese friend, her step dad (Jewish-American) got flack for marrying her mom.

My uncle got flack for marrying a darkskinned black woman (he's black as tar btw)

People suck and are stupid and racist and stupid and stupid and really stupid.
