Im only 19 and this guy from pakistan is 25, we never met before in person, but just online. weve beeen friends for a few weeks and already he tells me that he wants a long relationship with me, but the thing is. I never had a boyfriend, and i always wanted to get married some day, but i chose to wait for the right person that God has for me, i don't know if hes the one. He told me when we met that he trusted me, which was a suprise to me, because its hard for me to trust anyone, because of all the lies ive heard throughout my life, so I dont really know if hes telling the truth to me about him. He told me that he wanted me to know everything about him, he even emailed me his pakistani passport and some pitchures of him to, he knows how i look as well. I just don't know if hes seroius about what hes telling me, and he wants to have a long marriage with me but i feel hes asking too soon and it makes me think that he only wants me for one thing. Hes also a muslim, what do I do?

Ok this may come off a little rude but that is not the intention. You are 19 and he is 25. Many times men from Pakistan find younger ladies online because they think younger American women are niave. Many times these Pakistanian men are married or in a relatioship in thier area. Why waste your time on a man who is countries away from you when you can find one in your own country? At 19 sweetheart you have a whole life to live. To worry about marriage and especially marriage to a man you've just recently started talking to is a niave thought. I'm 23 myself and have been in 4 long term relationships since I was 17. I'm currently in a long distance relationship and it took me 2 months of talking to the gentleman and 3 months of internet dating before I even thought of meeting him. We're very happy but the distance is very hard on both of us. Just keep in mind your heart and your needs at such a young age should be TOP priority. IF this man truly loves you he will WAIT for a year at least for you to be comfortable with him completely. Meanwhile, I think you'd benefit from continuing to look into other options in your own country or area.

Tell him thanks, but no thanks. There are too many differences between you to make this work.

I am suspicious of any person in another country who is so ready and willing to marry outside his culture. Makes you wonder why.

If you are not a Muslim yourself, you do not want to marry a man who is. Way too many differences which will make it hard on you in future.
