My breasts are tender & I'm nauseas once in a while. This is my first pregnancy, I just wondered if this is all normal. I'm NOT cramping or spotting. Is it normal not to feel pregnant in the beginning???

Yes, you are normal. Some women don't let their minds grasp the idea until something major happens. For some women its hearing the heart beat for the first time. For others its feeling the kicking.

For me - I never felt pregnant. Even when my daughter was kicking around and all. My mind just would not believe that it was happening. Even for several months after giving birth I kept thinking that her "real parents" would be coming to get her any minute. You know what.........I now get it...her parent IS me. It is so strange, the idea of creating a little person. I think some people just need more time to adjust to the idea.

Take it easy....and good luck!

Totally normal. I was very thin and one day my neighbor said "Wow you're showing, may I feel?" I looked down and was like snap I am so showing. How could I not notice this? Not even in the shower that morning or anything! That was when I first "felt" pregnant.

I never cramped or spotted with either pregnancy, I don't think that is normal is it? I've never heard of that being the norm. Be glad for your slow take off because before long you'll be SOOOO pregnant you'll be wishing for your due date.

I'm almost 7 weeks too! Our babies could be play-mates...haha
I don't even feel anything but my breasts being tender/sore, and feel like they've blown up...when in fact they are pretty much the same size... This is my second pregnancy. I wasn't able to keep my first. But a lot of things are different with this one. I'm not throwing up, or anything. It's just my breasts. If you ask you Dr. they will re-assure you. But trust me...it's completely normal. My email address is dsaxon2006@yahoo.com...if you want to keep in touch...I'd be happy to! We can track our pregnancies together. I could use some support as well!
Congratulations!

For the first 4 months of pregnancy... you are not going to feel pregnant at all. Yes you might have morning sickness, nausea, and some cramping.. but until you start feeling your baby move.. you won't feel pregnant at all. So it is normal and congrats and goodluck

At 7 wks having tender breasts and occasional nausea are very typical symptoms. It's normal not to have other symptoms yet.

During your 2nd trimester you might have no symptoms at all!

Every pregnancy is different. Get a book like "What to expect when you're expecting", it covers everything!

YES IT'S very normal not to feel pregnant. I didn't actually feel pregnant with any of my 3 children until about 8 to 10 weeks and even then with my middle daughter I never really felt pregnant other then a big belly or her kicking me! Every one of my pregnancies were VERY different.

It is completely normal. You are having a wonderful start to your first pregnancy. For your next one, you may have every pregnancy symptom known to mankind, be prepared, lol. Each trimester will change the way you feel. Usually the second one is the best by far. Congrats and enjoy the next months being prego!

You have the same symptoms as me and I'm 8 weeks with my second. Its all normal. Just be thanking your lucky stars that you're not puking every 5 miutes. Also, I'm so sick of being so tired. I'm asleep every night by 9pm. Its really sad. Some women show all the signs while others don't show any. Don't worry about it and just hink of how scared you would be if you were cramping and spotting. Congratulations!!

For many women that is normal. With my first child I was feeling VERY pregnant VERY early - with the second I didn't feel pregnant for about 4 months...with my last child, I never really felt pregnant in the bad sense ever

You probably won't feel pregnant until you have that baby belly. It's pretty hard to feel something that's smaller than a dime. I'm 11 weeks and I still don't feel like there's a baby in there. But it will come in time...just wait till you're 20 weeks, then you'll KNOW you're pregnant!
