Depends on your WAN or LAN ip.
LAN ip: Start > Run > CMD - IPCONFIG
So click on Start, select Run, type CMD, hit enter, in the command prompt, type IPCONFIG to get your local IP. If you want more info, you can type IPCONFIG /ALL

To find the IP address really quickly you can goto http://ipmonkey.com/
If you are using a router, this will let you know your external IP address, or the IP address assigned by your cable/dsl modem.
If you need your internal IP address you can go to Start> Run and type in CMD and press OK.
Then at the Command Prompt type in ipconfig /all
This should give you a listing of the IP address assigned by your router or if you are directly connected to your cable/dsl modem, then the same address that IPmonkey would give you.

In windows xp click start >run then type cmd press enter then type ipconfig press enter again it'll tell you your ip address
or right click on the icon by the clock that shows you're connected to the internet and click status in the dialog box click details
