Having something to offer - and a love of the subject. You're not there to babysit, nor to star in your own show nor even to impart knowledge. You are there for the sole purpose of uploading extra thinking routines - so they have additional ways of looking at the world and in doing so broaden their horizons. If along the way some of your students find out what they are best at -that's a bonus.
