Does anyone still hold a torch for their first love...?

Question

Are they hard to forget, do you dream about them and what could have been, do you wonder why you are with the partner you are with now and if so do you dream of eventually finding true love again in the future?

I don't dreams are just dreams and whatever will be will be somewhere there is someone for everyone, I suppose I'm lucky as I have found someone and it is just take it day by day, nobody knows what the future holds things happen which are out of your control. If you get the chance of happiness grab it and try and hold on to it.

Sure, I think most people do! But then your snapped back into reality! Time changes people, and your first love.. if from long ago, is most certainly not the same. I've changed my so called "first love" to my " first what I thought was love". True love comes in many forms, and mine is now in the form of my husband of 18 years. I wouldn't trade my life with him for anything. If your really curious, look up your old flame, or another old friend who's still in contact, and see where life has taken them. Maybe you'll get some insight on what you missed, and it will either make your torch burn hotter, or put it out altogether!

I don't even know who my "first love" was. I've had many loves and infatuations. Right now, I feel that my first TRUE love is my husband - but then, of course, I have felt this way in my past marriage, too. So no, there's no specific person that I wonder about or dream about, although there are a few people from my past I remember fondly.

my first love was when I was 16. he was my 'first' and gave me a promise ring 2 years into our relationship. I broke up with him- it was too early to think about settling down! I had my whole life in front of me. I still think about him, but I know that I wouldn't be who I am today if I followed that path with him. I just looked him up online on our states court system. he is in the middle of a divorce, and his future ex has several restraining orders against him.
Looks like I made the right choice! :)

Dear Tech Support:

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.1, Hunting & Fishing 7.5, and Bowling with Carl 7593.23 no longer run, crashing the system whenever applied. I can’t seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I’m thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall doesn’t work on Wife 1.0.

This is a very common problem that men complain about. Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING! It’s also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is also impossible to uninstall, or purge the problem files from the system, once installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warning-Alimony-Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application “Yes Dear” to alleviate software augmentation. The best course to action is to enter the command prompt C:\APOLIGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLIGIVE command before the system will return to normal anyway. Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0! WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.

I think about my first love all the time. We share three children so we are always in contact. I do think about what could have been. I have found true love again, and I know that I will be totally devoted to him.

I don't sit and ponder what could've been or whatever. I am in a happy place with a really nice guy right now.

NOPE! Ive found someone else who has got a major hold me I cant.. get over him ive tried getting over him by moving with other guys even forcing myself 2 like the guy but that didnt wrk at all. I even tried avoiding him but that didnt wrk either cause Id always bump into him which pissed me off lol so now i dont bother I just accept my feelings 4 him now. And hes my mate lol and ive fallen 4 him but he dnt knw that lol I keep it 2 myslf
