I was watching something on Fox News last night and heard something about celebrities wanting us regular people to cut back on our use of energy, such as using lights, driving (gas consumption), etc. What are your thoughts about this subject? Should we just use candels while celebrities live in their multi-million dollar homes and fly private jets across the world.

I suppose not ALL celebrities are championing this cause. But I think that we all can do our part to reduce our energy use. Al Gore with An Inconvenient Truth, and Leo DiCaprio are major players in that field, and I'm sure have taken measures towards that goal. I don't think it's about living by candle light, but doing our best to try and take some preventative measures.

Celebrities need to teach by example not by word of mouth.

yeah it's kinda like celebrities asking us questions like how can we stop world hunger, how can we end homelessness. They can start by donating some of their millions.

well wouldn't it be nice if we could all afford hybrid cars, right? some celebrities to their part to help...but i agree w/ you on the fact that they use more to heat their homes and all that. rediculous. i try to conserve energy as much as possible b/c i can't afford my electric bill!

They're really good at "talking the talk", but they certainly don't "walk the walk".
