First, you need to consult your doctor to find out if it's a wise decision to have a child. If he gives you a thumbs up, find out from him/her what precautions you need to take to ensure that you and your unborn baby are healthy. I, personally, would wait until your husband is out of the military and has his own career started. Once his feet are planted firmly on the ground, take the next steps and start trying.

hi... if i were you i would go ahead and try to concieve because since he's really important to you anything could happen in the military and if anything did happen you wuld still have a part of him with you. know what i mean? with your heart condition when you have kids it will still be there so better now than later hope this helps

The heart condition thing I would be concerned with. Has your doctor said it's ok to get preganat? If you can than why wait? He will be out soon and you will be having the baby that much sooner.

I hate to scare you but my mother has a heart condition and almost died having me. Yours might not be as bad though. I think adoption is such a good option anyway. There are so many kids that need homes.

Get a check up and discuss this with your physicians. My friend has a pacemaker (she's only 27) and that didn't stop her. She's been fine and the only thing they told her was that she would have to have a c-section.
