Has anyone here gone from the hood to the office?

I grew up dirt poor in the hood. I can't stand factory jobs but that's all that's around here. I used to hit the block, you know, on the streets, but I don't wanna do that anymore. I've been searching for an office job for two months now. I just wanna know if someone has done what I wanna do, you know, go from the hood to the office. Thanks

If you have the qualifications and are computer literate then you should have no problems getting a ofice job. Get some office skills and you will go far, not to mention an education and drop the slang will help along the way

well you sound pretty well spoken so i dont see why you could not get an office job. just keep looking and dont act like you are from the hood or tell that story.
