No, not at all. Nothing would EveR make me ashamed of my heritage. Yes, there's many people that have many things against him, but they still laugh at his jokes and he still makes money from it. He's just doing his job and giving the people what they want to hear. If you or anybody else for that matter don't like, well they can change it. There's many things on T.V. that I don't like, but there's also everything for everybody. He sometimes goes too far for my taste in comedy, but I always hear others laugh and have a good time. It spreads stereotypes and ignorance but it depends on the intellectual level of the people that hear him to actually listen to him.

That's the thing I noticed, he makes fun of the stereotypes of the people, people are familiar with hearing those kinds of things so they laugh. I know he might show a black man or a latino shooting somebody, a dumb blonde, racist white people, but I'm smart enough to not believe it but be able to laugh at the stupidity of those who don't. I know not all latinos, blacks, whites, homosexuals, or other kinds and races of people are the same.

Well that's my opinion just like yours is that. =)

I like Mencia and he is right about some stereotypes. He is half-Mexican, half-Honduran. His father is from Honduras and his mother is from Mexico, he was born in Honduras and then his mother sent him to live with his aunt and uncle here. His father never legally recognized though, they have a relationship. That is why he has his mother's name Mencia instead of his father's Holness and his real name is Ned Arnel Mencia. Maybe his ancestry is German but we might all have European ancestry in us and not know it. He is a real Hispanic don't believe those stupid rumors.

Carlos Mencia is the honest man out there! He says it like it is and speaks about and for everyone. He makes just as many white people jokes as he does Mexican jokes, Gay jokes, Black jokes, etc.
He says what everyone else is thinking, I think its great. Lets break down all the cultural tension, and lets make fun of everything and everyone, lets not leave anyone out, b/c no one person, race, religion, belief, lifestyle, etc, is perfect, or better than anyone else. It sounds like to me your a little sensative DEE DEE DEE!!! LMAO

I don't think he's funny but he ridicules stereotypes and throws them in our face...I've only watched him twice mind you.

But to be ashamed to being Hispanic over Carlos Mencia...man, you need the Hispanic version of Al Sharpton...then you'll know true shame.

Ya know what I think he is pretty funny and Goreg Lopez too.
Why do you have to hate and I am Mexican and nothing that he will do will make me feel ashamed of being what I am that does not even make any sense you need to lighten up.You must be white right .

what I find amusing is the guy tries to sound like a black person. and i'm sure most hispanics find insulting is that he lumps hispanics and blacks together as if hispanics are looters like the black people.

he does bring out the best of the hispanics (him being mexican)!
