Kennedy, Johnson and MLK played major roles in the integration of American Schools. I'd say Jimmie Davis of Louisiana got the start of it. Mississippi on TV seemed to be the worst. German shepherd police dogs biting people, fire hoses used to keep crowds back, police used clubs on Americans, but I forget who the first black student in Ole Miss was. For years I knew the name. Lyndon Johnson with the help of people like Barbara Jordan made it happen after we lost our young President Kennedy.

I am from Long Island, NY. It was the right decision.

And it wasn't just Earl Warren's decision. It was a 9-0 vote.

It took them almost 60 years to undo their mistake in Plessy v. Ferguson.
