If she believed in the things she said on Big Brother I think its very unlikely shes already dropped those beliefs.
I agree that its just her trying to restore her reputation in the hope that shell still be eligible for contracts sometime in the future.
Of course its possible to be an ex-racist. Many people realise how stupid their views are as they live life, but this hasnt happened to Jade.

I'm not sure, maybe it depends on the person - its quite obvious Hitler would never have changed his mind about all the prejudice and hate he held for so many people. But I'd like to think that something important could happen in a person's life for them to change their attitude, like seeing an african baby die from poverty, or a muslim "terrorist" being unfairly arrested and put on trial.
I believe that we aren't all bad people. Some people just go off on the wrong tracks.
Can't believe we are still giving Jade Goody the press coverage she is desperate to have, she should just be forgotten about!

It's possible, but unlikely. People generally don't change their views once they reach a certain age.

Of course it's possible!!! Many people, esp. older, were raised with a racist mentality. Their views have changed over time with education and understanding.

It would be nice to think that peoples prejudices can be unlearned or changed but when that person is on TV doing it their motives are a little suspect...

I do not know who that is but I do think that you can be an ex-racist. I think that as you mature and experience life you can learn things that change your view of life and people.
