To 'Cut The Crap' and his/her followers: I have no problem with wealthy people and people who have big houses; I have a problem with those who say you should or shouldn't do______ while they are doing the opposite. Put that in your pipes and smoke it, hippies. And learn the definition of hypocrite, that is if your brains aren't already toasted enough.

Blueridgeliving, can you fake that orgasmic frenzy over cut the crap's answer any better...you MISSED my point I don't care that a person is wealthy--good for them--but don't preach one thing and do another.

WOW--KooKoo Bananas AGREES with me????

WAAAAWAAAA, bluridge. Look here 'babe', I am NOT bitching about rich people--I don't like the 'do as i say not as i do" mentality and that goes for ALL politcians, celebrities, etc. BTW, the big oil co. owners aren't out there saying YOU shouldn't do it, but they can....

You got NOTHING blueridgebarbie. You are a typical anti-family, elitist snob who fabricates accusations of your own (where did i say you smoke pot?) and calls anyone who doesn't agree with you a fascist. Thanks for the laugh.

Interesting to me is that environmentalist say the issue is not Republican of Democrat, not Red or Blue rather Green. Most environmentalists are liberal and consider global warming a moral issue. Yet they also believe one can not legislate morality (pro-choice). This is the quagmire they have and the hypocrisy in which they live.

Leo could also figure out how many watts are used to light up a set for even one scene of his movies. How much gas is used for the filming and re-filming of every car chase scene. etc etc etc.

I ABSOLUTELY **LOVE** THE ANSWER GIVEN BY "CUT THE CRAP."

Ain't it the truth? The righties swoon for days over wealth, and here they are in a positive orgasmic frenzy dissing an American for his.......stuff.

No surprise there.

In response to your ADDITIONAL RESPONSE:
You STILL don't get it, do you?
You're bitching about the exact same thing YOU guys do.
How many posts today have been about Al Gore? And refuting posts talking about his GREEN usage.
How many posts have been about Pelosi's "jet?" Yet never a PEEP about Hastert's excess. Or, for that matter, the EXCESS of the entire 109th Congress.

You have NOTHING.
You have NOTHING of substance to cry about, so you fabricate a "perceived" indiscretion.

Hey, he can live on top of an oil rig sucking it up with a straw for all I care, babe. He's done MORE for exposing the masses to the facts than any one person alive.

Ever hear of "balance?"
************************

"WAAAAWAAAA?" I have no idea how that would apply to my post. I suggest you go change the shitty diapers on that puppy you popped out. How many is that now? Five?

******************************
Nice generalization, there, fascist. I do not smoke pot. Or do any drugs of any kind, actually. And how is it that you continue to CONVENIENTLY ignore the facts continually being posted by different posters about Gore's GREEN USAGE?

I see no hypocrisy.
I see a man who has uncovered an ugly truth and you're bitching 'cos you don't like having to look at your SUV in such an unattractive light.

Liberal - he has bought green energy at a premium for the last three months. He was called on that issue in the past and probably figured he should do something about it before he was thrust into the public eye when his little science fiction movie was nominated for an Oscar.

It would not be inconvenient at all he has enough money to pay somebody to move all his stuff. But hey I like Al Gore whether he flys commercial or uses his jet or lives in a 10,000 square foot home or a 2000 square foot home.

2007-02-27 15:14:21 · answer #4 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

why should he move? They may be running that big house as efficiently as possible. Do you want someone like Barbara Streisand moving in and Building another 12,000 sf air conditioned barn to support it? I am not a Gore fan in any way shape or form, but this talk about the size of his home and his electric bill is beneath us all.

Quite inconvient.

The truth is that the richer you are the larger carbon footprint you have. And rich is so relative. A middle class American looks rich to a Chinese peasant. And Al Gore looks rich to most Americans.

Everyone wants someone else to make the sacrifices.

I choose to look at it this way: If he sold that house the new buyer would probably not invest in renewable energy, whereas the Gore family does. So, though I am appalled at the power necessary to house one family, I don't see his moving as the solution as much as buying into "Green" energy is

You have hit a jackpot. Congratulations, even Kookoo Bananas agrees. It would likely be a big job to move the fam to smaller quarters but downsizing has its benefits. But, where you gonna' put that ego?
