I had an IUD put in after I gave birth to my first child. got it removed in June after 4 years. Since then I did not use any protection thinking it would be okay if I get pregnant. Now I'm getting a little upset because I'm not pregnant. I got pregnant 2 times real easily (1 miscariage) And now nothing? I'm a little scared I can not have more childrens.

It can take up to a year after stopping any form of birth control before you get pregnant again. If after a year has passed you can talk to your doctor about fertility options (most won't consider it until it's been a year). I know it's difficult to try and feel like nothing is coming of it. Have you tried using ovulation tests? They worked well for me and several others I know. Best of luck to you :)

I dont think that should effect your chances. I also have an IUD, but I got pregnant really easy with my first child, and it took me 4 years to have another. This was before my IUD, so maybe you should get a kit at the store that can tell you your best days to get pregnant.

According to the product information, you're fertility should return to a normal state after an IUD removal.

You should make an appointment with your doctor and get a full physical and gynecological check up done to make sure things are ok.

I had an IUD for about 5 months when Mirena first came on the market. It eventually punctured my uterus, and the scar tissue completely blocks my right fallopian tube, so for me...if I wanted to become pregnant...would have my fertility cut by at least 50% thanks to the IUD.

I wish you luck.
