you'd betta call them, fool!!! do you know how many people applied for that job?!!! you must be tactful when you call, though.....put on your most professional voice and hat and go for it. that will let them know that you're really interested in the position. if you need, come up with a couple of questions, like what's the next step in the process, how many days does it take to review applicants, how will i be notified...just general questions. that sometimes helps break the anxiety of calling. good luck....it's tough out there!

You could perhaps give them a call and ask them to confirm whether they have received your application. Also ask if there is a closing date for applicants to apply and when do they plan to be holiding the interviews for the position. But try not to sound too pushy as this can put employers off.

Best of luck hope u get the job your after!!

I'd give them about a week. But do it in a very relaxed way. If they feel you are not pushy but confident without being too cocky, they are more likely to respond positively.

Follow-up in 48 hours to confirm that they received your application. I would follow-up a week later to ask if they have any questions about your resume/application.
