I don't like my university...to transfer..or not to transfer?

I don't like my school or my advisor..but the problem is after this semester I only have one year left of school before I am done as an undergrad...do you think its too late for me to transfer & should I just stay at the school I am currently attending..or should I go with what will make me happy and just transfer? I feel like they don't offer as much as they do for business students as they do for the other departments such as pharmacy & medicine...

It's not easy for you to transfer at this point. Most schools have a residency requirement. At my university, they require that you have so many hours at my school before graduation. I'm assuming you have about 30 hours left, and most residency requirements are about 60 hours. Then there are issues about whether all your credits will transfer. A lot of schools have already passed their deadline for new/transfer students for the fall.

A year is a pretty long time to not be happy about your living situation and whole environment. Before doing anything hasty though, how about looking into other schools that you believe that you would feel more comfortable at first, and find out which classes that you have taken thus far will transfer towards completion of your degree. If most of your courses already taken are transferable and the price is relatively the same as the school that you are currently attending, and you enjoy the campus that much more, why not transfer?

It's a very important time in your life and it is important that you are happy in your environment so maybe you should think about transferring....

This stage in your life is soo vital and if you don't feel comfortable where you spend this educational journey then you should transfer.
