Are you sure you have a male and a female? Two males or two females will exhibit the same behavior as a dominance display. Your older rabbit could have just been letting the new-comer know who's territory it was.
If you do have a male and female, and neither rabbit is neutered/spayed, yes, it's possible that she can get pregnant. Rabbits are "on demand" ovulators. Meaning that the female ovulates in reaction to the male mounting. (Most female rabbits are able to ovulate 17 out of 20 days... that's a pretty high number of "fertile" days.)
Did your older rabbit grunt and look like he "fell off" the new one? Did he start stamping his feet? (all typical male behavior after servicing a doe). If so, count 31 days on your calander and give her a nest box on the 28th day and get ready for the pitter-patter of little feet. As soon as the litter is 6 weeks old, seperate them find the babies good homes and get the doe spayed!
(You will not be able to "palpate" the doe... feel the babies... until she is 14 days along, and it takes a lot of practice to do it right so that you don't hurt her or the babies.)

First make sure that it is a female rabbit. Then put her in a cage with a male rabbit and leave them alone, except for feeding them for a few weeks and see what happens. If they take a liking to each other she will get pregnant.

of course.....there are hormones released when the vagina stretches...not so in humans thankfully...and this will cause ovulation...so "success" rates of pregnancy are much higher in rabbits
