As a life-long Democrat it pains me to say it, but I think the GOP will wind up with McCain and Giuillani on the ticket and take the presidential election

The Republicans, because they are already practicing strategies to limit and exclude the votes of those people who don't happen to be lily white and middle class.

according to the Galup pole the Dems have an advantage right now.. that would be due to the dislike for the war in Iraq and the handling of it thus far.. things could change between now and then but if the trend continues you will see a democrat as the next president.

A party won't win. A candidate will. I think, in this election, people will finally listen to the individual candidate.

It depends mostly on who each party nominates. It's not just a party decision for most people. Most of us (most rational people) look at the person and their beliefs and not what party they are running on.

The Republicans because the Dems are dumb enough to put Hillary on the ticket. This could be about the easiest election for the Dems to take.....and they can't find anyone better than Hillary and maybe Obama.
