well so what im goth, emo, and punk that should not matter but the way i dress seeems to effect ppl from thinking right, others laugh and evenge themselves as they believe their worth is larger

u know i personally am not afraid of emos. im not even close to being one or looking like one and i probably would nevr become one but i think theyr pretty cool. i think some people just got this thing in their head that says all goths, rockers, emos, punks r scary and weird stay away. but its so stupid. i've dated a few really hot emo guys and they were really cool. the whole cutting thing scared me a bit cuz one of my boyfriends did it and i thought he would die. also the whole long trench coat thing kinda freaks me cuz i always think someone could hav a knife or gun in ther. not just emos anyone. dont listen to what other people think and dont let it faze u. be whoever it is u wanna be.

People are afraid of what they don't understand. You may understand why you want to dress differently, but they do not. To hide fear, some use laughter to prove that they are strong to themselves and to those around them. They just don't understand and they never will because the can't see past their own insecurity.

Your appearance has nothing to do with it - after all, any fool knows not to judge someone just by whatever clothes etc. he/she has on - no, the reason people are afraid of you is because of the way you are always biting the heads off rats and chewing them up as you walk down the street.

THEY ARE AFRAID BECAUSE YOU ARE DIFFERENT THAN "NORMAL", I AM BEING HONEST WHEN I TELL YOU THAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DRESS LIKE THAT, BUT I TRY TO ACCEPT YOU THE WAY YOU ARE. I THINK A LOT OF IT MAY BE A GENERATION GAP.

Maybe they are just intimidated by your self confidence and unique sense of self expression. Someday they will mature and you guys will be on the same level. For now, just ignore them, they're probably annoying anyway.
