I like Final Fantasy 7's battle music the best. FF8 was good too. I notice that FF1, FF2, FF3, FF4, FF5, FF6 and FF9 had similar themes. I didn't like FFX-2's battle music that much.

FFVII and FFIII are tied to me. Like someone before me said, all Final Fantasy themes are similar, and I haven't played them all, but III and VII sound very good, especially in Advent Children.

Even though my fave game was ff2 (US) where Cid was a real man and not some demented scientist, I still have to say the music of FFVII was the most engrossing and really helped the tedium of watching 2 minute summons 20 times a day. Gotta say I haven't played VIII, X or X-2 though.

A better question would be which FF was your fav? Mine was 3 for SNES. If only they would remake the game with today's graphics and game play. The story line behind this game was great!! And i hate to read.

I cant decide with the non-boss, but with the boss, Sephiroth's music owns all. So 7 for me :P
