Kurenai means crimson. You are more of a manga character (Kurenai Yuhi) than a demon.

Well, Kurent (spelled like this) is a figure from a Slavic folklore, with long, dirty white hair all over his body, horns on his head and cow bells around his waist.
It's a demon that chases away the winter. People still hold the tradition in which men dress up as Kurents, put colorful ribbons around the horns and jump up and down, causing the bells to ring and the noise apparently chases the winter away.
