I mean, I am not a Bush admin. fan, but I would never wish for anyone's death. Why do cons try to make democrats look so evil?

I don't care about Rush's drug-induced comments. I want comments from real democrats who feel punished because we want a change for the better in this country.

Well, I think the Conservative have a death wish themselves and are only repeating what they themselves wish had happened. They are still not believing that they no longer run the House or Senate and will soon in 2 years lose the White House. Their minds are all warped they make a wish and then blame it on the Democrats. We care less what those old fuddy duddy ugly Republicans say, they are sick bunch of do nothings, sit around day dreaming. Look at them have ever seen such girlie looking bunch, Webb and I can't think of the new Senator's with the flat top from Montana just the two together could mop the floor with all the Republicans standing around. Webb has already got Bush. His son is in Iraq. Bush ask him,"Hows you son doing, Webb said he's in Iraq , Bush said I didn't ask you where he was ask how he was doing, Webb answered , that's between me and my boy sir."

i don't see how any American would be happy that a effective terrorist group claims duty for an assasination attempt on a vp. in my opinion i'd experience a similar if the attempt replace into on Cheney or Pelosi. i'm an American first.

Because early today there were a number of questions from the usual Liberal suspects alluding that they wished Cheney had been killed in the attack and if you read the answers to any questions about the bombing you will see many answers wishing he had been blown up. Thats why the Conservatives here are saying that.

I think it's horrible that peaople of both parties come one here and joke about death and the realities this world faces today. The conflict in Iraq and other nations is not a joke, this is very real and a lot closer to us than people realize. The name calling and complaining and joking about our leaders is not the mature way to go about things, especially when dealing with this reality. My cousin gave me a military knife that he used to take someone's life to protect his own over in Iraq on his first tour. Now that is reality.

I know. Conservatives try to make the Democrats look like evil incarnate and I don't think wishing for someone's death is proper or humanitarian. We don't agree with their policies, we don't want them dead.

A LOT of lefties DO wish he was killed.
Rush just read an interview with a writer of a late night talk show. He wished Cheney had been killed and said a lot of his colleagues did too.

If you take a look at some of the questions and answers from this morning, I think you will have to admit that alot of folks on the left were doing exactly what you are saying they didn't do.
That is, of course, assuming that they have not yet been deleted...as they should be.

Maybe it is the millions of times we have seen Liberals post regarding killing the president, impeaching the president, etc.
And many Liberals have said no to death and impeachment of Bush, b/c of Cheney. Its just math, no big mystery.

I have personally heard some liberals say that they wish he had been killed. I would not say that I had heard them if I had not actually heard them saying it. Don't paint this as the "vast right-wing conspiracy" - there are enough leftist wacko's out there who are off their rockers enough to actually say it, so just because you don't agree with them that does not mean that some of them don't feel that way.
Granted, I am glad you don't agree, and I am ashamed that any Americans would wish harm on any of our elected officials, or any US citizens for that matter.
