Does it seem that most of them are saying "do as I say, not as I do...? Does the fact that they own lavish homes and multiple pricey vehicles make them lose credibility with you when they speak on this topic?

I would not rely on anyone who makes public statements about global warming unless they have a lifestyle to match.

That cuts out anyone who has a lavish home, car, private jet, etc.
The peope to watch are those who are making some effort to cut their consumption seriously and it is their example which is important, not what they say.

They are doing it to look good. They are idiots......

I never look at a actress or an actor for any advice on political, religious or moral... Just becuase they can act does not mean they can think. In fact their lifestyles and public life show how messed up they are

Just because they might not be the best examples does not mean that we should stop fighting to solve the very real problem facing our species!

with the temperature of the volcano's in the northern hemisphere rising on almost a daily basis how can you dismiss global warming? its not just 1 or 2, its all of them...man made or not its really happening.

The way I see it is, Yes they are saying Do as I say and not as I do, but we are destroying are earth whether celebrities talk about it or not. I do everything I can to be more environmentally friendly.

Many of them do fit that profile. It depends on how they go about it as to whether they loose my audience or not. There are tricksters and then are those who really want to do what they can in spite of their wealth.
