Bill OReilly is an obnoxious guy but he gives it straight. He is a conservative and claims to be in the middle without flip-flopping or spin. Perhaps so, but he is still a very self-centered guy who thinks he is the world's answer to reporting the news. Just listen to him. He has been everywhere and knows everything. He never allows his guest to speak, constantly interrupting with his usual glib remarks. He will not be fired because he is presently enjoying a very high rating and Fox News needs this in order to obtain the enormous dollars for advertising during OReilly's show. That is what it is all about. Money!

When FAUX News has to change the transcript of his show because they are embarrassed about what he really said it's time to throw in the towel - at least a responsible news station would do that. But since he brings in the ratings from the Bush bots they'll hold onto him. It's all about the $ and the ratings. Sad isn't it?

No, hes too popular, the most popular I believe. Plus he has a level head (although on some issues he is too extreme but in most senses he is actually more centered than many libs would make him seem. He right of center but not as extreme right as limbaugh whom I dont like.
You dont fire people that are getting better ratings than ANYONE ELSE ON TV!

As an American, I support his right to spew whatever nonsense he chooses to. But in answer to your question - the only way that he will get fired are if his ratings slip. He could always be a phone sex operator though:

Never. Just because you, and others dont like him doesnt mean he should lose his job. You may not agree with his views on politics but he is a man who cares about important issues, like these judges who let rapists and child molestors off with probation. If you dont like Bill, turn the channel and watch something else.

Simple. When his ratings drop.
Not before, and not after.
Same with just about anyone else on TV.
