In my career communications class, there are ways to help your speech.

Illustrate: tell a story that ties in with your topic; it can be a fable, something that happened to you or a friend, etc.

Statistics: Look up interesting stats on your topic. There's always something out there.

Explain: Assume your audience doesn't know everything you are saying and exaggerate/further explain the meaning of some of your points.

I've also been taught that silently reading your paper to yourself is much faster than if you were doing your presentation. Read it to yourself out loud in the mirror or try it out on someone. If you speak clearly and pause at times for certain effect, it will be longer and actually go by quickly. I was super nervous for my first speech and almost went over my time!

Hope this helps.

It really sounds to me like you need to go back to each point and do more research so that you know you've done a thorough enough job. If you still can't think of anything new, I would say b.s.ing isn't going to get you very far. As long as you've done a thorough job and you feel comfortable answering questions about the topic, your teacher probably won't hold it against you if your paper is shorter than the 2-page requirement.

In college, I used to go through my papers with a fine toothed comb and get rid of all the compound words like: We're. I'd change it to we are. Then I would reread my sentences to see if I could word them differently as to make them longer. As a last resort, I would change my font to Courier New. It's the largest font on Word.
When doing a presentation, slow down. Speak at your regular pace, or if you normally talk fast slow it down.

Find more content. There is nothing on the planet that cannot be talked about for 5 minutes.

Use a lot of filler type words that would make you seem like you know what you are talking about and the problem would therefore alleviate itself... (aka- Add more words, not content!!!)
