Pawn some jewelry. The storage/interest rate will be astronomical, but you will get it back, and it'll give you the money you need to buy the present.
You could also donate plasma (assuming you're capable/not taking any medicines that would interfere with you being a doner) but I don't think that pays enough. Plus, it's painful.

You can to places like Labor Ready etc.They pay daily so work a few days get your money and quit lol
