One option is to use vinegar to remove the grease from the blades. Avoid using oil based products as they will cause streaking, sometimes to a dangerous extent! The other option is new blades. The 'poundland' type shops often sell a pair....for, yes, you guessed it....£1!! They may not be the best bet, so there are plenty of more expensive alternatives on the market. You would be surprised how many people leave their wipers to get in awful states before even thinking about replacing. I have had to buy a new set of blades for every car i have ever bought due to them being knackered!
Hope this helps! :-)

Replace the wiper blades. And use a product called rainex. Bought from most motorists shops. You wipe it on the windscreen and the rain just blows away pluss it lubricates the wipers. Very effective.

Make sure the wiper blade is clean, then try wiping some fairy liquid along the edge of the wiper blade.

the wiper blades start squeking once you use them on a dry wind shield.. and things worsen day by day
the best solutionis to change the rubber of the blade and never ever use them on a dry surface
the squeeky wipers are not only annoying but also spoil you wind shield

You can either replace them with new ones or:
Clean the blades with rubbing alcohol and spray them with Teflon. Wipe off the excess and you're all set to go.
It's not a miracle fix but it will extend the wiper blade's life
Cheers

Replace the blades and always use a screen wash in the water bottle and you will find that the blades last a lot longer, and your screen will not be prone to scratches by thrown up grit

The rubber is getting hard and needs to be replaced with new ones. The sun will dry the rubber out, then they streak and squeek.

Wipe them with some kitchen towel to get all the dirt and grime off, which they are spreading back and forth. Use screen wash in your water. They may also need changing or re-alligning.
