There is a women at work who I hardly know, and for some reason she keeps the little sticky notes I have left for her. The notes are purely work related. For example "I came to see you earlier but you were out". I came across them all on her desk today. Why would she do this? It seems a bit strange.
I have asked her and she doesn't answer the question.

Could be several reasons.
1) its just that she doesnt like to throw stuff away like that
2) she wants it for future reference
3) but since its such simple stuff like "i came to see you earlier but you were out", I dont see a reason to use it as reference. So I might be forced to think she has a crush over you and thinks these posty notes are special since it came from you.

All fo these answers are possible. One woman I know is like this. She just has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It is hard to tell from the little you wrote. It depends if she keeps notes other people give her or not. If it is just you, she might just have a crush on you. It helps her feel she is somehow connected to you. She may not even know why she keeps them.

She sounds like a hoarder to me.
Although, you may need to address the matter more fully if she has confidential information just sitting around on her desk.

honestly, she may keep them because she keeps all her notes.
but in reality, girls usually only do this if there are some romantic inclinations.
get to know her, she may be really digging you.
but if you feel like her feelings are a bit to obsessive, out alot of distance between her and you!

suggest you expand on what you say in them . E.g. I came to see you at 10am regarding ................but you were not around . Please get back to me ASAP>. It could be she is an oversensitive little flower and misinterpreting what you write (in which case you need to be more specific as per my example) or she is obsessive about post it notes.

maybe she has a clear out once in a while and doesnt dispose of rubbish straight away or maybe she is shy to answer, it also goes down to how you asked her.
