can any of you tell me why in the blue moon did trump pick that regect bobby lashley out of all the rosta/and others he chose him dont get me wrong he is ok but by god y not choose someone better even to go as far as to bring someone back..i.e.. y2j.. if he got all this money pay someone big to comeback the rock goldberg anyone but that lame brain

I honestly thought he would pick the Great Khali that would be a battle of the billionares and battle of the monsters that would be awesome but WWE wants ECW to grow in popullarity so Bobby Lashley is Trumps pick I dont like it either

It was supposed to be Hulk Hogan but he and Vince recently had a falling out.The problem with your scenario is that The Rock , Chris Jericho and Goldberg DON"T WANT TO COME BACK. It's not like the WWE told those guys to go away (OK maybe that joke Goldberg) it's that they don't want to work there anymore. Jericho has his acting and music, the Rock has his movies and Goldberg is a talentless joke. Why did they pick Lashley? Who else is there? With HHH hurt until August and the only 4 (well three actually, Batista makes Goldberg look good) legitimate main eventers already being used, who would it be? WWE is in sad, sad shape these days.

Lashley has lost the moment since joining, and also isn't really eager to wrestle for the worst and poorest rated of three brands ECW who only has about 2 million fans a week where as Raw has about 5 million and Smackdown has about 4 million. So they're putting him in that match to make him a main part of the show at Mania for momentum and so he can appear on Raw which he'll be more eager to do.

I wouldn't call Lashley a reject but I did expect it to be Khali against Umaga!

I agree that it's down to to lack of BIG talent and ppl like The Rock have said they will NEVER wrestle in the WWE again. It's blatantly gonna be Stone Cold as the guest referee though.

Well first off they want somebody big enough & strong enough to be able to take on Umaga.He has to be a "face" like Bobby is.He's currently in ECW to get experience & serve his time.He's bound for either Raw or SD at some point & will be the champ there in a year or two.Plus he needs to get experience of the big high-profile matches at ppv's.This one as part of the Vince /Trump feud is the perfect opportunity.
Y2J won't be back.He's got his band Fozzy & he presents a rock show on a radio station.There's rumours of TNA wanting to sign him up, so if he goes it will be to Dixie Carter,
The Rock & Goldberg have both finished with wrestling.Both have been quoted as saying they will never return.

Because WWE is trying to build Lashley to look like he can compete with all the other champions. That's what ECW is used for, now.

The Rock won't come back for any amount of money.

And thank god Goldberg won't come back for any amount of money. The guy just plain sucks at wrestling.
