1. Al Gore, champion of efforts to reduce global warming, while owning a 20 room house that uses more electricity in one month than an average house uses in an entire year.

2. The Kennedy's, who are in favor of alternative energy sources, but went absolutely apeshitt when someone tried to build wind-powered generators across the bay from one of their multimillion dollar beach houses.

3. John Edwards, whose impassioned speeches about there being "two America's" (one rich, one poor) seem odd in the context of him owning a 22 million dollar house on 30 something acres of land in a very exclusive development in NC.

4. Bono, who chastises world leaders to do more to end poverty in Africa, while sheltering tens of millions of his own dollars from taxation by doing all his banking in the Netherlands, thus cheating the U.K. out of tons of money.

Tough choice. The only one I'm soft on is Bono; in his tax bracket, the UK wants about 90%.

If I may be so bold: How about Robert Redford, actor, and liberal 'environmentalist' who during the first gas crunch (late 70s) chastised us - the great unwashed - to conserve on gas. All the while, his lush spread, Sundance, harbored an underground gas tank (6,000 gals?).

Ooooh, I'm going to be a hog here. Then there's Rosie O'Donnell who, on her show, ambushed Tom Selleck about the NRA. Then RO's nasty little secret was exposed; her bodyguard was caught with a handgun.

I think everybody (including you and me and everyone else in the world) is hypocritical to a certain extent. At least the people you listed are hypocritical but trying to do good.

For me, Bush is the most hypocritical in a BAD way. He has such tunnel vision and it seems like he'd send ALL of us over to Iraq, but if it came down to him fighting...I don't see it happening.

Bono rocks. No two ways about it. And I think you mean that he's cheating Ireland out of money, not the UK...

Oh I don't know. Surely all these liberals aren't actually hypocrites? *Gasp* And who said that Ted Kennedy got away with murder? Say it ain't so.

I would have to go with Bono on this one. The man could probably support a country over there with all of the money he has, but he won't. He'll endorse red cell phones....

Bono is the least hypocritical. Hiding his money from the U.K. is probaly how he IS able to feed the poor. God says the poor will always be among us so therefore be careful of how you treat them.

Go Go Bono!!!!!!

I believe that they are all a bunch of hypocrites, but if i had to choose the biggest hypocrite from your info i would have to choose bono. I am sooooo tired of hearing him tell everyone that they need to give more to help africa when his ***** *** is hiding all of his money. maybe he should take it and give it to africa oh wait its all for publicity anyways right.
