Yes that is very normal my kids did the same exact thing. You can try to give him some baby tylenol or get a teething ring and put it in the freezer and then give it to him, they love that. Good Luck, I hope this helps you.

When your baby is teething, his body is fighting the irritation, that may make him susceptible to catching other infections. Most people are under the misconception that teething CAUSES cold-like symptoms, but that is false. It makes a baby more likely to catch a cold. Try to stay away from the Tylenol and Orajel, those chemicals are harmful to a little guy's liver. Use an all-natural soother such as Hylans teething tablets or other products containing chamomile.

It is very normal with teething. All of those symptoms could mean teething. If your baby has a fever, make an appointment with the doctor. Teething does not cause fevers. If the baby is very upset and hard to console, always check with your doctor, but a small dose of Motrin did the trick for our girl. Now those back teeth are coming in and it's way worse!!

They do get cold like symptoms with teething, but keep your eye out for fever or the length of the symptoms.

Did your baby get these same symptoms before with the bottom teeth? Has anyone been sick around the baby? Just things to think about!

yes it is. as long as the drainage is clear or a lightish yellow there is no infection. babies usually have fever, drooling and runny nose when teething.

Take a clean washcloth soak it in apple juice and stick it in the freezer in a bag let it thaw a bit then let him chew on it. My daughter loved this.
