I am a licensed Radiographer. I love it. It is very rewarding. You must meet the prerequisites for a program and get accepted into it. Once licensed, you can be trained in CT, Ultrasound, or Nuclear Medicine. The pay is good. Dive in now while you are young.

While I'm not a radiographyer/x-ray technician, I had thought about it many years ago when first starting (community :) college. Just a word to the wise that the radiography program coursework is supposed to be pretty rigorous with a lot of courses in the sciences including some physics. I'm not sure of the job prospects these days, and perhaps you can find out from an unbiased source (such as Not from a radiography association) regarding that. Good luck to you if you decide on this career or any other endeavors :-)
