Custom painting and finishing will run you several thousand dollars. The "glitter" finish requires special spraying equipment, and special curing, plus you must add an additional clear coat. Expect no less than $4,000.

Call a few paint shops or better yet take it in for an estimate.....no charge for an estimate....and it will probably depend on the shop. Make sure you get a look at some of the jobs they have done in the past.....to see if they are good. Find out what brand of automotive paint they use and see what you can find on the internet as far as quality goes. Good luck......sounds like you will have a hot chicks car and the colour is unique and will look great on an Ion. Perhaps you might want a personalized lic plate which says wannapeelme.

It depends. By it being a Saturn, there is no body work that needs to be done. That saves a lot. Depending on if you want candy paint or not, plus the labor (including taping off, which can be tedious if your painter does it the right way. Watch out for overspray!) buffing and a wash, it could run you about 3,000-4,500 thousand dollars. Sometimes, if you have a hook up, they shouldn't charge you more than 1,800-2,000. The paint is still balls expensive. Hope this helps.

Simple paint over - $500-$700.
Half decent job without going into details (such as underneath the hood for example) - $1,000-$1,500.
Proper job with sanding, taking all the mouldings off, pearl coat - $2,000-$3,000.

Of course that will vary, depending on how much you wanna customize the job and the condition of your vehicle. Make sure you get a paint code in case you have to match paint in the future (in case of a scratch, accident, etc)

"Glitter" is also known as sequins.

Any good painter knows to put the sequins on in the final coat. It doesn't cost much more for them, a couple hundred perhaps.

A standard high-end paint job is about $2,000. That would include removing any trim, handles, mouldings etc. to do a good job.

Yellow metal flake paint job. My guess is 3500 as the cheapest and then on up depending on the number of coats of base, the amount of flakes and clear coat. If you're going that far, then think about some ghost flames on it too. Then you'll have a real custom paint job that people will notice.

i've talked to people who've had a 'good' paint job for around $500. they said it "looked like ****". i would expect a paint job like that for around $2500. more if you want graphics.

if i were you i'd go with the more expensive but better looking pearlescent paint job that changes color with the light.
