I think it's penis envy. The feminist movement has brainwashed women into thinking they can have it all and that somehow they are inferior to men. It has always been a man's world, and equal rights and dignity are overdue, but up to a point. Men and women are different, and radical feminists have convinced themselves and others that women should be able to out do men in many areas they define as successful, like the business world. Some women were made to feel a sense of inferiority if they stayed at home to raise the kids, so they resented that and felt that being out in the world like a man was really living it up. Hence all the jealousy.

I also beleive that women were RIPPED off when we had "liberation" thrust upon us. That social movement that we foolishly took on in the 60's has backfired horribly. I know this will sound wrong and politically incorrect but I found out the true reason for this movement. Yes there were true iniquities to be addressed. This cannot be disputed. Sexual harassment and equal pay for equal work for example. Oddly these two problems still linger on.
The result of liberation has only resulted in women becoming even more stressed out by these "freedoms" to be equal. Our foolish dissatisfaction with much of the status quo of the time has resulted in us thinking we can have it all. At what cost? Our health and the health of our families. I truly believe women should be home with the children, especially when they are teens and need a parent in the house. Our society is paying greatly for the results of this. I refused day care because I was selfish. I did not want to give my baby's "first" anythings to a stranger!
Recently I saw a film that really opened my eyes The interviewee was discussing one of the Rockefellers. He quoted the Rockefeller as saying that the whole women's liberation movement was encouraged by the elite. They pushed this agenda into the press and brought the movement to the fore.
Why? NOT to help the condition of women on the planet. They did it because once women were out working, they (as in the government) could collect twice the taxes! Now two family members could be taxed instead of just as one.
He added that as a bonus there was a fortune to be made in day care and it allowed them access to the minds of their children at a younger age. Apparently he laughed when the interviewer made a comment about how women are more stressed than ever as a result.
Personally, I have never wanted to be a man. I like being a woman. Both sexes are equal when it comes to making a life, it is just each has different but complementary strengths.

i would say in a word insecurity makes them jealous........
i think they are jealous to begin with because they are not secure with themselves and their feminity, i mean lets face it men and women are different in some ways but when a woman feels secure with herself there is no reason to be jealous of anyone including men

I don't know the technical term, but do you mean the phobia-type jealousy? Otherwise I assume your trying to be funny. In that case, it's ....just jealous...same with men jealous of women.

Ha ha ha ha.
The word is: fictional.
I don't know a single woman who wishes they were a man. Not a one. Personally, I love men, my best friend is a man, but can't imagine being one.

Penis envy is what it's called.
I don't know why some women are jealous of men. I wouldn't want to be a man myself.

Feminists.
They all secretly want to be men, but believe me being able to stand ain't always an advantage. Particularly while out in the open in high winds.
