Used to be about £5 a year... now £20... sorry, but its outpriced me... and no discount if you belong to Friends Reunited too... Has anyone else been priced out of everyday web things like these which amuse briefly, get used maybe once a month at most,... and then get stung for the massive cost increase?
They have lost me as a customer... and I am confident I will not be the only one: Any thoughts, fellow Yahoo'oees?

Yes. That's to pay for the odd adverts we've seen ever since Christmas. Us British people are suckers for memories. A good three quarters of people who I considered 'mates' at school 20 years now are people who I wish I had shot. And as Denise says, big businesses know it too.

Well done for binning them. These companies are a law unto themselves and are only interested in a quick turnover and a fast buck. I hope that lots of other people also kick them into touch and that they are forced out of business for being greedy.

that's what happens when the big boys take over. the people who dreamed it up sold out a couple of years ago to a company who obviously had an eye for the big bucks. i totally agree with you.

i renewed my subscription in november and it was the same as last year (£9.75) but i will think twice next time..having said that, you need it if you are doing a proper family tree or you come to a dead stop.
