The wires are the spark plug leads that run from the distributor to the individual spark plugs.

SOME PEOPLE CALL THEM IGNITION LEADS, SPARK PLUG WIRES, IGNITION CABLES. THESE ARE JUST A FEW. IF YOU CALL THEM SPARK PLUG WIRES ANYONE WILL KNOW WHAT YOU ARE REFERING TO.

i have always been taught that they were called ignition wires. NOPI calls them that and so does all the other car magazines i read. my auto teacher calls then that and so does google.
