I saw a movie called, or so i thought, the pianist.
and its about this mom who's mute and has a daughter, adorable little girl, and then some stuff happens and her husband tells her not to play the piano ever again, and she does so he cuts her finger off, and some other stuff happens, and the mom and the guy teaching her to play piano go on a boat w/ indians? i believe, idk and she goes overboard and stays underwater but the guy saves her.
haha sorry i saw this movie a long time ago and really remember what happens.
but please help !!

Also near the end of the movie she ends up getting a metal or wooden finger so she can play the piano again.

That movie is called "The Piano". "The Pianist" is a different movie set in Poland in WWII. They were both very disturbing.

I know the Pianist is about a guy in a war torn Poland during the Holocaust Perhaps you are thinking of a movie called the Piano though I do not remember it very well. But the movie The Pianist is an excellent movie!

Nope, you saw "The Piano". "The Pianist" is the World War II movie about the Invasion of the Germans and a Pianist's ability to survive. They are a little different. Heh
