If you cantell me about any debate topic from any category that would bee great. Please not university level topics but high school or middle school.

Is it just me, or did James post his answer to the wrong question?

Oh, well.

I love debates! Here's some good, easy to research topics for you. When I was in Mid and High school, these were the topics that we used.

Child labor laws (easier than it sounds-- Hint: Ruining someones childhood vs. cheaper products at Walmart)
Vendors in schools selling soda & snacks
Cheerleader uniforms
School uniforms
Should the band be allowed to travel for events
The usefulness of a subject (Math, English, etc.) in the real world
Swimming allowed as PE class
Off campus lunches
Standardized tests
The importance of spelling things right
Prayer in schools
Displaying the 10 commandments in public places

You can make anything a debate as long as you can see two sides to the issue. For example--is it better to be anorexic or obsese? Should teenagers be allowed to drive at an earlier age, or shoudl they have to wait? Should school lunches be free? Is suspension a proper way to discipline a student?

passed the bar on my first attempt, without going to any exam prep courses.

You blew it my friend. Preparation for the bar begins on day 1, in the first year of law school. You should have been memorizing, doing flash cards, and practicing since day 1. You should have been living and breathing the law. Are you serious about practicing law in California?

Sorry, but I am just telling you like it is. Exam Prep courses are only refresher courses, and help examinees get over their nervousness. It is more psychological prep than actual preparation.

You can still do it. Forget about movies, television, boozing with friends, or chasing tail. You need to start memorizing and practicing. The July Bar Exam is about five months away. You can do it. Good luck.
